Calopterygidae
Calopterygidae is a biological family of insects that includes broad-winged damselflies. They have wingspans of 5–8 cm and are often metallic-coloured. The family ranges in size from 35 to 66 mm long. These damselflies live in streams and rivers, being seen about the lakes only when flowing water is nearby.
