South Queensferry

South Queensferry is a part of the City of Edinburgh. It is located some ten miles to the north west of the city centre, on the shore of the Firth of Forth between the Forth Bridge and the Forth Road Bridge. The queen referred to is Saint Margaret of Scotland (1045–1093) who is believed to have established a ferry at this point for pilgrims on their way north to St Andrews.
